I'm not sure that I would call myself  an "Expert Mom," but I have spent the last dozen years of my life using my psychology degree from SIU with daily dealings of  infants to college graduates and every possible kid stage inbetween.

With my three beautiful children (all mom's say that right?) I've been a full-time working mom, a part-time working mom, and a stay-at- home mom.  All of these jobs have been rewarding and challenging in their own ways.

I've also been a avid volunteer for anything from PTO secretary, classroom mom (oh those classroom parties can be a killer), High School Cheerleading Coach, my sorority Alumnae Chapter President, sports team mom and carpool queen.  Yes, I have mastered the talent of feeding the kids in the car and checking their homework while getting them from one activity to another.

With the Patch, I hope to be able to share some of my solutions to the craziness that we encounter as moms on a day to day basis with our Lake Zurich area readers. And maybe give you all a reason to smile even if you find a drawing from your future Rembrandt done in Sharpie on your new hardwood floors... one word, Fantastic, it cleans up everything!
