About Bill
As a former Pioneer Press sportswriter for nearly 21 years, I look forward to a fun career writing for Grayslake Patch and other communities. My field of speciality includes golf, volleyball, football, baseball, softball and basketball. Left behind at Pioneer was my Foursome golf tournament that introduced me to more than 50 gifted players in Lake County.

All I had to do was explain that lede of that story. No way I meant any harm to the talented 15-4 Grayslake Knights sophs. Sorry about that.
-
Bill Pemstein:
I should have explained my lede better. No disrespect meant to the North sophomores who are 15-4. It's just that the Central varsity girls are so good. Sorry.
