Update: Bloodhounds Aid Search for Missing North Barrington Woman
Search team looks for Maria Carlsen in Lakewood Forest Preserve.
Feb. 16, 10:30 a.m. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office continues the search today for 61 year-old North Barrington resident, Maria A. Carlsen, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office has sent a team of bloodhounds to meet with investigators in the area where Carlsen's car was found. Deputies and reserve deputies with the assistance of a helicopter from LEAC (Law Enforcement Aviation Coalition) will continue the search of the area near Lakewood Forest Preserve. Investigators continue to follow leads and work closely with the family in an effort to locate Maria.
