Hawthorn Woods DUI On Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 11:54 p.m., Hawthorn Woods police made a traffic stop at Old McHenry and North Milton roads. Douglas T. Brown, 23, of 477 E. Lake Shore Drive, North Barrington, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage, and driving under the influence-alcohol/drugs. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Jan. 9 court date. Kildeer Criminal Damage to Property Kildeer police took a report on Saturday, Dec. 1, that ComEd utility boxes at East Cuba Road and Lakeridge Court were spray-painted.
