And the founder, who is known only as Volle, said she is proof that with hard work, passion and determination, the American dream still is within reach. For the first time since Volle’s Bridal & Boutique opened its doors 40 years ago, it offered a "Volle's Vault" blowout sale of dresses, shoes and accessories to its customers this past weekend. The sale included designer bridal gowns, along with dresses for prom, special occasions, mothers of the bride, and bridesmaids — for $10 to $499 each. As a bonus, 5 percent of all sales went to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. “We wanted to have a huge sale like this to celebrate our 40th anniversary and to give our customers the opportunity to get a beautiful dress for a fraction of the cost,” said Volle's Vice President Deanna Dean.
