Vincent TeRonde has been given a "last chance employment deal" for the incident that happened in September of 2012.
A Lake Zurich police officer has been given a “last chance employment agreement” after being accused of causing an alcohol-related car crash while carrying a loaded police department weapon, The Daily Herald reports. Vincent TeRonde didn’t lose his job over the incident that occurred last September. Instead, the agreement states he must pass all random drug and alcohol tests as requested by the village and can be fired for anything that violates the contract’s terms, the Daily Herald reports. TeRonde’s employment deal lasts through Sept. 21, 2015. Get your local news delivered daily, for free, by subscribing to the Lake Zurich Patch newsletter.
