District 95 to Discuss Plans for Special Education Services

Notice of pubic meeting for parents of private/parochial and home-schooled students in Lake Zurich District 95.

  On the following dates and times, Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 10 a.m.-12 p.m.and Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at 1 p.m.-3 p.m., a meeting conducted by Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 will take place at the District Administration Center located at 400 S. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private/parochial schools or are home-schooled within the district for the 2012-2013 school year. New Leader Takes Charge of District 95 Special Education

Nancy Rosenfield is state approved to take over the district program.

Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95's special education program will have a strong new voice this year: Nancy Rosenfeld, assistant superintendent of student services.  Rosenfield is the newly appointed state-approved director of special education for the district. Rosenfeld has been in special education administration for more than 20 years, and 12 of those have been with District 95. "I derive a great deal of satisfaction from seeing and knowing that the programs and services we provide make a positive difference in the lives of so many children and their families," she said.
