Emergency Weather Closings in Lake Zurich Area
Winter storm closes area schools.
All Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 5, due to projections of significant snowfall and dangerous travel conditions. All extra-curricular events and activities for tomorrow afternoon and evening are also canceled. Other area school closings: St. Matthew Lutheran, Lake Zurich Wauconda School District 118 Transfiguration School in Wauconda Frassati Catholic Academy in Wauconda Da Vinci Waldorf School in Wauconda Carmel High School, Mundelein Kildeer Countryside, Dist. 96 Montessori Children's House, North Barrington St. Francis de Sales Also closed: Ela Area Public Library Women's Bible Studies at the Chapel Lake Zurich Foglia YMCA programs cancelled.
