Little Leaders Preschool applications accepted through May 1.
Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 is accepting applications for its new tuition-based preschool, Little Leaders, through May 1, 2013. Parents of children who are between three and five years of age as of Sept. 1, 2013 may download application materials from the District 95 website or pick them up at the Office of Administration, 400 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Children must be potty trained. Enrollment in the tuition-based program is open to families who reside within the District 95 boundaries. By May 1, 2013 a non-refundable application fee of $50 will be required with the Registration Form and Parent Consent Form to secure a placement in the program. An Information Night meeting for the District 95 Little Leaders Preschool Program will be held on Wednesday, April 10, at 6 p.m., at May Whitney Elementary School, 100 Church Street, Lake Zurich. District 95 announced the opening of a preschool run by the district beginning in August, 2013. The district preschool will challenge children of all abilities through academic rigor that is in alignment with district curriculum. The focus of the program is to provide a rich learning environment that fosters the development of all skills for students age 3-5. Dually certified teachers will teach the classes.
