Middle School North Students to Perform in Honors Festival
Five students will perform at Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) District 7 Junior Honors Band & Honors Orchestra.
Congratulations to the following five Lake Zurich Middle School-North music students for being accepted into the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) District 7 Junior Honors Band & Honors Orchestra. The following students will represent Lake Zurich Middle School North: 8th Grade Francesca Castro - violin 7th Grade Brennan Groble – viola Kyle Grenier - trombone 6th Grade William Gilbert – violin Mathew Maliekal – double bass Over 700 students auditioned for the IMEA junior band and orchestra from middle schools in Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties. Students were selected based on their preparation of the audition music. Students will be performing in the IMEA Junior Honors Festival on Saturday, November 3 at Wauconda High School. …
