Fredrick J. Fassnacht, 63, passed away peacefully in his Deer Park home on Thursday, November 8, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 6, 1949 in Chicago, IL, where he proudly remained for his entire life. Both an intellectual and a sportsman, he acquired three collegiate degrees, including law, and played college football at Wisconsin LaCrosse. Thereafter, he worked as a sales executive at Merrill Corporation for over thirty years. A board member of Inverness Golf Club, Fred was an avid golfer who took great enjoyment spending time on the fairways and greens. Fred was a connoisseur of both the simple and the refined - he loved fine wine, gourmet dining, well-tailored suits, and the best cigars, while he also enjoyed …
