Lake County Woman Charged with Multiple Drug Offenses

A Lake Villa woman arrested for intent to deliver heroin, among other drug charges, will appear in court Tuesday.

A Lake County Sheriff's deputy made a significant drug bust in Lake Villa, finding a woman in possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Stacie Vickers, 38, of the 24000 Block of W. Forest Drive, Lake Villa, was driving southbound on Route 59 near Busse Lane on April 22 when she was stopped by a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy. The deputy smelled marijuana inside Vickers’ vehicle and conducted a search that produced 78.6 grams of marijuana, 9.4 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia and $1,062.00 in cash, according to a press release. Highway Patrol Nabs Pharmacy Tech with 2300 Pills in Volo

Alleged offender told police she sells Oxycontin and other pills for $2 each on the street.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office arrested a 26-year-old Waukegan pharmacy tech on numerous felony counts after discovering 2,300 prescription pills, a shotgun and $4,700 in her car. The sheriff's office responded to a complaint of a reckelss driver at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, according to a news release.  A Lake County Sheriff deputy located a black Toyota matching the description given by the caller in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant at Route 12 and 120 in Volo.   While approaching the car, the deputy smelled burning cannabis and also observed a baggie containing what later tested to be cannabis in the interior of the vehicle.  The driver, Holland R.
