Obituary: Daniel Callen of Long Grove
Callen was an entrepreneur, and worked at CDW as vice president of finance. He was an avid hockey player at Twin Rinks in Buffalo Grove, and a past board member of William's Syndrome Association.
Daniel Callen was born on May 24, 1957 in Chicago to Frank and Dolores (nee Hadeler) Chwalinski. He died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Hawthorn Woods. Mr. Callen, who resided in Long Grove, recently owned his own business and previously worked as a certified public accountant for CDW, serving as Vice-President of Finance for 13 years. He was an avid hockey player and a member of Twin Rinks in Buffalo Grove. He was a past board member of William's Syndrome Association. Daniel was also a member of AICPA. Daniel is survived by his spouse of 20 years, Donna (nee Bellock) Callen; his daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer Callen; and his brothers, Thomas (Debra) and John Chwalinski.
