Fire Department Responds to Lake Zurich Basement Fire
Fire Chief David Wheelock reports that there were no injuries.
9 p.m., March 30 The Lake Zurich Fire Rescue Department responded to a residential structure fire at 173 Parkway Ave in the Village of Lake Zurich, at 8:19 a.m., according to a news release from the fire department. Upon arrival, the first fire unit reported visible smoke from the front of a one story single family home. Residents of the home were located outside the structure and reported everyone was out of the home. The fire was located in the basement laundry room and was under control/extinguished at 8:37. The home suffered fire and smoke damage and at this time is uninhabitable.
