Lake Zurich Village Hall

This location has served as Village Hall since 1987, but as the concrete slab on the front of the building indicates,More the Village of Lake Zurich was  incorporated in 1896. Fire Station #1 was the previous location of Village Hall. The building houses the administrative staff, building and zoning department, finance department and, of course, the village president's office.
Lake Zurich Fire Protection District Station #2

Fire Station #2 is outside the boundaries of the village but still serves portions of Lake Zurich as well as some of theMore surrounding communities. This substation covers the far west side of the village. As with the other fire stations within the district, it is operated under contract with the Village of Lake Zurich and also with the other communities it serves.

Station 1 serves as the headquarters of the Lake Zurich Fire Rescue Department. In total, the department has fourMore stations, but only two are located within the village. That's because in addition to Lake Zurich,  the department is responsible for covering portions of Kildeer, North Barrington, Hawthorn Woods, Deer Park as well as portions of unincorporated areas in Cuba, Ela and Fremont Townships. The entire 25-square-mile area is referred to as the Lake Zurich Rural Fire Protection District.
Lake Zurich Middle School South Campus

One of two middle schools in the district, the Lake Zurich Middle School South Campus is the only one located within theMore village. It also shares the property with Isaac Fox Middle School. The school mascot is the Eagle.
Village of Lake Zurich Public Works Department

The Public Works Department includes the administration, engineering, general services, utilities and vehicleMore maintenance divisions of the Village of Lake Zurich. Everything from potholes to drainage issues and servicing village owned vehicles is handled by Public Works. The department also takes care of mosquito abatement, snow and ice removal, forestry and sidewalk repairs. If that's not enough, it also handles construction management.
