Pull into the strip mall north of the intersection of Midlothian and Gilmer roads in Hawthorn Woods, and the aroma that hovers there will instantly make you hungry. Between Oregano' Corner Cafe a few doors down and Little Joey's pizzeria, it's hard to tell the source, but you won't make a mistake eating at Joey's, which offers Chicago-style and thin-crust pizzas. Had the lasagna and bread sticks. It also came with a salad.
The lettuce was turning brown. Yuck, in the trash it went. I’m not being nitpicky but I wouldn’t feed that crap to my lizard!
The bread sticks were the same kind I by from Jewels!
The lasagna………on a scale from 1 to ten it was a 1. Way to much cheese, no real taste. I asked for meat sauce but there was no meat to be found. For 10 bucks I was expecting something better then a microwaved piece of pasta with a ton of cheese thrown over it.
