Ela Township's Knigge Park is reserved for the use of the Ela Soccer Association and the Ela Soccer Club and their fans, unless you obtain a permit from the club to use the park. The parking lot accommodates enough vehicles for home and opposing team players and families to park. For younger members of the family who may not have the attention span to watch the entire game, there are swings to play on and a bench. The park is located just behind the Ela Township Highway Department.

great to see the Knigge name on that sign the knigge family were one of a small sum of familys who made Lake Zurich what it is today. They ran the Hardware store, fire department, cultavated the land and held Ela township Supervisor ofice. Harry Knigge my grandfather made the soccer field for kids who wernt the football type. He also put together the senior center. He would be very proud to see the park is still there! Grandma just passed this past year however she was able to see the park. thank you
