This Week in LZ: Board Reviews Downtown Proposal

Board of Trustees meets this week and a downtown development project is on the agenda.

Lake Zurich’s successful Rock the Block brought more attention to its downtown and now its Board of Trustees will be discussing an agreement with a potential developer.

LZ Promenade is interested in developing an area known as Block A. The Board must decide whether it will enter into negotiations with the developer or pass on the plan.

Also on the agenda, the Board will make changes to the village’s liquor code and four people will be sworn in as firefighters/paramedics.

6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16 at Ela Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich.

When you just can't wait for what you'll do next, you can do anything. At Girl Scouts, girls are always counting down to the next adventure we'll go on together.  Maybe it's artistic.  Maybe it's an experiment.  Maybe it's getting outside or helping the community.

The recruitment session will provide more information to girls and their families about the Girl Scouts.
