District 95
The Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 Board of Education is meeting 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at Lake Zurich High School’s library, 300 Church St., Lake Zurich.
The board’s agenda includes adopting the 2013-2014 district budget and a State of the Schools report by Superintendent Dr. Mike Egan.

Ela Township has a busy schedule filled with programming for seniors in the township. Classes, day trips, seminars and social activities are offered at the Ela Township Community Center, 380 Surryse Road, Lake Zurich.

- Monday, Sept. 23- All Over Fitness, Balance & Flow, Bingo, Canasta, H2O Go Getters, Scrabble Group, Senior Book Discussion, Sit and Be Fit
- Tuesday, Sept. 24- Art Class, Breakfast Club, Bridge, Commit to Be Fit, Fitness Plus, Lunch & Learn, Pinochle, Poker, Time to Retire, Walk in the Park, Yoga, Zumba
- Wednesday, Sept. 25- All Over Fitness, Balance and Flow, Flower Power Hour, Life Story Writing, Macho Man, Open Track, Sit and Be Fit, Wednesday Senior Club
