The Greatest Unsolved Mystery: Who Really Killed JFK?

The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington, will host a program on the JFK assassination.

It remains the most controversial case in modern American history and yet with all we know of the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, there’s so much that continues to be hidden and illusive.  Join us to hear historian, Barry Bradford explore not only the facts of this unsettled case, but also its impact on the lives of American Presidents today.

Lake Zurich Baseball Trivia Night Fundraiser

Sign-up begins at 6 p.m. at the Old Fire Department, Old Rand Road, across from Lions Park. The cost is $25 per person. Checks should be made to the Lake Zurich baseball activity fund. Trivia begins no later than 7 p.m.

There will be cash prizes to winners. The event will include items for raffle, a silent auction and 50/50 type games between trivia rounds. There can be up to 10 people on a team. For more information click here.

Holiday Market to Benefit Pet Rescue

Get a head start on holiday shopping and help support a local non-profit animal rescue group, Reach Rescue. Get a sneak peek of holiday merchandise from Howley Street Pet Boutique, 400 N. Seymour Ave., Mundelein, and check out and shop guest local artists and crafters.

Ten percent of proceeds will be donated to Reach Animal Rescue.
