Lake Zurich Resident Helps Save Photos of Flood Victims
Jane Medina has spent the past two weeks attempting to save water damaged photos of Lake Zurich residents, the Lake Zurich Courier reports.
A Lake Zurich resident is doing her part in helping salvage photos of flood victims, the Lake Zurich Courier reports.
Jane Medina has collected photos from five families impacted by the June flooding, and with the help of volunteers, has dried them out and returned many to their owners. Medina said she felt compelled to help because the basement of her childhood home flooded, destroying many photos and memories, the newspaper reports.
