Lake Zurich Fire Department Hosts Blood Donor Challenge

The Lake Zurich Fire Department is challenging all eligible residents to donate blood this month.
The department is hosting a blood drive at the American Legion Hall on July 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Every two seconds somebody in the U.S. needs blood. Please take the time to give if you are eligible," reads a release on the Village of Lake Zurich website.
