Early Childcare & Education Advocacy Workshop

Do you work with young children? Are you the parent, educator, or caretaker of young children? Are you passionate about ensuring that children grow up healthy, happy, and in a secure environment?

The Advocacy Workshop will:
•Explore the basics of advocacy and public policy
•Provide essential tips and tools to serve as an effective advocate on behalf of children. 
•Equip participants with the ability to build and strengthen relationships with your local state representatives to have your needs and concerns represented in Springfield. 
•Provide a toolkit to start fostering strong relationships with local government officials that represent you, your family, and your work in Springfield. 

Child care providers can receive CDA hours upon completion of workshop. Teachers can receive CPDU hours upon completion of workshop.  
Light refreshments provided. RSVP required; space is limited!
