Voting started today for the competition, which will result in the winner receiving a "Battle of the Fans" banner to display.
Seven other schools are in the running for the title, including: Carmel Catholic's Crazy Corsairs, Cary-Grove's CG Super Fans, Glenbrook South's Gold Rush, Loyola Academy's White Noise, Naperville Central's Redhawk Rowdies, Naperville North's Dawg Pound and Nazareth Academy's Freddie's Fanatics.
Voting will run through Dec. 23 on the CN100 website. Standings updates can be seen on the website and at www.facebook.com/battleofthefans.
