Tryouts For Area Youth Sports Scheduled For August, September

A variety of programs include baseball, basketball, softball and swimming.

Late summer means tryouts for a number of sports, including baseball, basketball and swimming. Many of the tryouts are for teams that will be playing this fall, coinciding with the beginning of the 2011-12 school year. Some tryouts, like those being held for the Northern Knights and Top Tier baseball teams, are for leagues that aren’t scheduled to play until the summer of 2012.
