St. Matthew Lutheran Celebrates Basketball Wins
Team finished in top four of the Fox Valley Lutheran Athletic Conference.
The boys basketball team earned enough wins to finish in the top four of the Fox Valley Lutheran Athletic Conference and were the No. 4 seed in the end-of-year Conference Tournament.
This was the first time in St. Matthew Lutheran School history that the boys team did this!
For a team with four seventh-graders and four sixth-graders, this is most impressive. They played well against the No. 1 seed team from Zion Lutheran in Marengo — a team of eighth-graders that towered over our guys.

The boys from St. Matthew came up short but put the conference on notice that a new era is beginning the conference.
