LZHS Grad to Cheer at March Madness Game

Savannah Haeger will cheer on the Davidson College Wildcats.

 

Savannah Haeger, a 2012 graduate of Lake Zurich High School, will be cheering on the Davidson College Wildcats at the second round in the East Division of the Men’s Division 1 Basketball Championship on Thursday at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. 

While at Lake Zurich High School, Haeger served as president of the National Honor Society, president of the Drama Club, founder and president of the Law Club and was selected by audition only for the Illinois All-State Choir.

“I am thrilled to represent Davidson at the Tournament,” said Haeger.  “Although I did not cheer in high school, Davidson encourages it students to take chances, go out of their comfort zones and experience something new and I am so glad I did.”
