Lake Zurich Girl Chosen as Captain of Boys Hockey Team
Madison Zack, a student at Isaac Fox Elementary School is the captain of the Ice Dogs Hockey Team in Vernon Hills.
A Lake Zurich 10-year-old girl has been named captain of her all boys hockey team, the Lake Zurich Courier reports.
Madison Zack, a fourth-grader at Isaac Fox Elementary School, was chosen by her teammates to lead the Vernon Hills-based Ice Dogs team last year. Coach Jason Wright said her team chose her because of her dedication and drive. Zack told the Courier she “want(s) to work hard to play against kids that are better than me.”
