Lake Zurich High School has a new head baseball coach, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Chuck Gandolfi was hired a few weeks ago to replace Gary Simon for the position. Gandolfi is the former coach of Carmel High School’s squad, a position he held for 21 years. He was not re-hired by the school in 2009. Gandolfi tells the newspaper he’s interested in more than just coaching at Lake Zurich. He wants to “run the program the right way.”
