Colton Moskal, a Lake Zurich High School middle linebacker, is headed to play football at Syracuse University in the fall of 2014, Syracuse.com reported Saturday.
According to the site, Moskal gave the Syracuse athletic department a verbal commitment.
Moskal is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports, the site reports.
Comments on Syracuse.com were positive, with many fans excited at the prospect of having Moskal play for the university.
