Grade School Wrestlers Compete in State Tournament

Eight Community Unit School District 95 middle school wrestlers have qualified to compete in the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) State Wrestling Tournament this weekend at Convocation Center at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. The wrestlers weighed in earlier today. 

70 Pound Weight Class

Ben Baca, 5th grade, Middle School North, preliminary round.

Joey Black, 6th grade, Middle School South, first round.

75 Pound Weight Class

Travis Nix, 7th grade, Middle School South, preliminary round.

90 Pound Weight Class

Ethan Hoenigger, 8th grade, Middle School North, first round.

112 Pound Weight Class

Bryce Kapitzky, 7th grade, Middle School North, preliminary round.

Jordan Juarez, 8th grade, Middle School North, first round.

145 Pound Weight Class

Tommy Clancy, 8th grade, Middle School South, first round.
