ITASCA, Ill. -Eaglewood Resort & Spa turns the music up as the sun goes down with its Sounds of Summer overnight packages. After a relaxing day at the spa or hitting the links on the property's award-winning golf course, guests can own the night while singing along to live music or just sit back and enjoy listening on the Prairie River Patio during the weekend concert series.

Beginning with a full weekend on May 25 and continuing every weekend through Sept. 2, Eaglewood Resort & Spa will feature a variety of artists across all musical genres, giving guests another reason to stay and play. And, what music to the ears as the property is offering overnight and weekend packages beginning at $159* per night, which includes deluxe accommodations for two, breakfast, drink vouchers,  and preferred seating for the live music, as well as access to all of the other activities the resort offers.

"Live music is the perfect complement to our other relaxing amenities here at Eaglewood," said Julie Berry, director of sales and marketing at Eaglewood Resort & Spa. "Guests can enjoy the sounds of the Caribbean to the hits of 60's, 70's and 80's this summer, while also enjoying our refreshing summer drink specials and our light seasonal menu.

While you may just have a weekend to getaway, our convenient location will enable you to enjoy more vacation time and less travel time. And, thanks to our world-class amenities, you will feel as if you are a world away...at least for the weekend."

Artists such as Frank and Dave, Scarlette Fever, Eleventh Hour, and Tropixplosion will be on hand with their crowd-pleasing sets at the resort select Friday, Saturday and holiday Sunday nights this summer. Beginning at 8 p.m., the normally tranquil Prairie River Patio transforms from its identity into an intimate concert venue.

Can't stay the night?  Still enjoy the summer fun by making an evening of it.  Eaglewood opens its doors to everyone, encouraging local residents to come and enjoy the live music for free.  Grab your friends or that special someone and dine at one of the Resort's restaurants, followed by cocktails while listening and dancing to the music.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
