Ela Soccer Club Moves Forward With New Field Complex

The Ela Soccer Club is moving forward with developing a new field complex after agreeing to purchase 10 acres of land at the corner of Old McHenry Road and Route 12 near Hawthorn Woods, according to the Daily Herald.
The area will be used to house three soccer fields and parking and will be used for soccer matches and tournaments, according to the article.
The soccer club still needs to address some issues.

The village of Hawthorn Woods has requested the soccer club pay for a traffic study for a road access permit and Lake County said the soccer club will need a conditional use permit, according to the soccer club's website.
