has reached a 12-year soccer field development and usage agreement with the Village of Deer Park.

“This is a win-win partnership that will develop two much needed additional premier soccer field areas for use by Ela Soccer,” said Doug Anderson, president of Ela Soccer. “Ela Soccer is honored and excited to be working with another first class and professional government entity. The elected officials of the Village of Deer Park along with the Village of Lake Zurich and Ela Township clearly understand the contribution that Ela Soccer makes to the community and embrace continued long term mutually beneficial relationships that directly impact the areas youth.”

The long-term agreement will give Ela Soccer the first right to field usage scheduling for the next 12 years. Hamilton Partners, the owners of the office buildings across the street from the park has also agreed to allow the use of their parking lots for Ela Soccer activities at the park.

This agreement clearly shows that public and private entities can work together for the benefit of the residents and children without the use of any tax payer dollars, according to Anderson. Ela Soccer currently also has field development and usage agreements with the Village of Lake Zurich and Ela Township.

Ela Soccer Club commended Deer Park Officials: Mayor Bob Kellerman, Trustee Barbara Evans, Village Administrator Jim Connors along with the entire Village Board for their hard work and support on the long-term agreement that over time will give the residents of the Village of Deer Park two premier soccer field areas.
