St. Francis de Sales Holds Two Open House Events

The open houses will be held on Jan. 20 and Jan. 28 at St. Francis de Sales in Lake Zurich, to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.

St. Francis de Sales Parish School, 11 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, invites all families to attend our two Open House & Information Sessions in January.

The first Open House & Information Session will take place on Sunday, Jan. 20 in the New Gym Lobby from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This session is specifically for families with children who will be entering preschool or kindergarten. A second Open House and Information Session, for all grade levels, will take place on Monday, January 28 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. At this time, new families may visit classrooms and registration for the 2013-14 school year will officially begin. It will continue in the school office throughout the entire week. Registration is not on a first-come, first- served basis. New students must provide their county (not hospital) birth certificate, baptismal certificate, Social Security number and $150 deposit, which holds the child’s spot and is deducted from the total tuition amount.

The Open Houses are held in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Catholic Schools Week, which takes place Jan. 28 – February 1. The St. Francis de Sales community will kick off Catholic Schools Week with the Open House for all grade levels on Monday, January 28. On Wednesday, January 31, the entire student population will gather for their weekly Mass celebration. Students are invited to bring a special guest to Mass, with a reception to follow. Other activities during the week include a Teacher Appreciation Lunch as well as a School Variety Show.
