Middle School North Students to Perform in Honors Festival
Five students will perform at Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) District 7 Junior Honors Band & Honors Orchestra.
Congratulations to the following five Lake Zurich Middle School-North music students for being accepted into the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) District 7 Junior Honors Band & Honors Orchestra.
The following students will represent Lake Zurich Middle School North:
8th Grade

Over 700 students auditioned for the IMEA junior band and orchestra from middle schools in Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties. Students were selected based on their preparation of the audition music. Students will be performing in the IMEA Junior Honors Festival on Saturday, November 3 at Wauconda High School.
LZMS-North had 18 students audition for the music festival. Auditions were held on September 29 for band and October 10 for orchestra. All the students who auditioned should be commended on their hard work preparing for the auditions.
