LZHS in Top 50 Chicagoland High Schools According to Report Card Data

Lake Zurich High School ranking based on standardized test scores.

 

Lake Zurich High School ranked number 27 among the top high schools in Chicagoland, according to a Chicago Tribune analysis based on the percentage of students who met or exceeded state standards on the Prairie State Achievement Examination.

Other high schools that made the top 50 included Barrington at 26 and Stevenson High School at 9.

Grade schools in the top 50 included Kildeer Countryside Elementary School in Long Grove.

 
The Illinois State Board of Education
  released its annual school report cards, last week, which grades the performance of every school in the state.

It also provides information on average ACT and Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) scores for high schools and the average Illinois Standardized Assessment Test scores for middle and elementary schools. 

According to a Chicago Tribune analysis, around half of all Illinois high school students failed the PSAE.
