LZHS Grad Chosen for Theater Research

Keemia Soheil of Hawthorn Woods participates in Richter Scholars Program at Lake Forest College.

 

 Keemia Soheil  of Hawthorn Woods, was selected as a Richter Scholar at Lake Forest College. Soheil will work on a theater research project with Professor Chloe Johnston titled, "Walking and Pilgrimage in Performance Art." Soheil will help research religious pilgrimages and how such practices influenced the work of late 20th century performing artists.

The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research.

Soheil is a graduate of Lake Zurich Senior High School in Lake Zurich, IL.
