Lake Zurich Woman to Chair CLC Board

College of Lake County seats new trustees and elects board positions.

Lake Zurich resident Amanda Howland has been chosen as the new chairman of the College of Lake County Board of Trustees.

Howland, an attorney with the Children's Law Group in Chicago, has served on the CLC board since 2009. She is also a former elementary school assistant principal and principal.

"I am looking forward to working with everyone," said Howland. She praised outgoing chairman, Richard Anderson, whom she described as having "worked harder for the college than anyone."
