Lake Zurich Students Raise Funds for Hurricane Relief

Students at Middle School North, Isaac Fox find creative ways to raise more than $4,000 in funds.

The students at Lake Zurich Middle School North held a Penny War to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The students had a great time battling and were able to raise $1,086. Thanks to a corporate match from SalesForce.com, a total of $2,172 will go to the relief effort. Congratulations to the students, staff, and families at Middle School North.

The fourth grade classes at Isaac Fox Elementary School coordinated a week-long fundraiser called $tudents $upporting $andy. Isaac Fox students, staff, and families collected $2151.56 for the American Red Cross, for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
