Good Shepherd Hospital Offers Scholarships
Students who will attend college or university in Illinois and study in health-related field can apply.
The Auxiliary of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital offers scholarships for students residing in the hospital's service area (which includes Lake Zurich) who will attend a college or university in Illinois and pursue an education in a health-related field.
The number of scholarships to be awarded will be based on the numbers and qualifications of applicants. Current references, transcripts, and proof of acceptance from the institution and acceptance into a health care professional program are required. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of attitude and desire toward education, leadership, citizenship, personality and financial need.
Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered and filed with the Auxiliary Scholarship Committee no later than Saturday, April 30. Finalists will be interviewed at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. The recipients will be notified by early June.
