The Lake Zurich Bears are making their 11th consecutive playoff appearance. The Bears (7-2) will face Crystal Lake South (6-3). Game time is 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the gate and gates will open at noon. Tickets are $5 each.
Lake Zurich’s best finish in the past 11 years was in 2006-2007 season when they won the Class7A state title. That team included quarterback now a free-agent on the Chicago Bears.
Coach Dave Profitt told the Daily Herald this will be a tough game, with both schools having very good defense.
The winner of this game gets a second round game against the winner of No. 3 Rockton Hononegah vs. No. 14 Willowbrook.
