Fox Weatherman to Visit St. Francis de Sales
First-graders will get a lesson on meteorology from Bill Bellis.
Bill Bellis, FOX Chicago News Chief Meteorologist, will visit St. Francis de Sales Parish School, 11 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, on Tuesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. As part of their science lesson on weather, St. Francis de Sales first-graders will receive a firsthand account from Bellis about his experience as a meteorologist.
Bellis comes to FOX Chicago from KNXV-TV in Phoenix, where he served as chief meteorologist for eight years. A three-time Emmy Award winner, Bellis holds a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of Arizona with minors in math, physics and hydrology.
