District 95 Could Save $240,000 Through Energy Saving Measures

The district is looking into improvements at Lake Zurich High School.

 

Lake Zurich School District 95 could save big bucks by improving operating systems at Lake Zurich High School, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The district has joined forces with Smart Energy Design Assistance Center and could possibly save $240,000 per year by upgrading the facilities at the high school. The company has figured out 15 ways for the district to save money at the building like scheduling systems to turn on and off when they aren’t needed. The cost for the improvements would be $61,000, the newspaper reports.
