“The kids all create and run it,” Principal Kim Kolze said of the Homecoming Show. “They work really hard and they do such a nice job.”

Keeping in line with the homecoming theme, “Witchcraft and Wizardry,” all the students were dressed like their favorite Harry Potter characters and even performed a short Harry Potter musical, played a faculty vs. student game of Quidditch, and held a Harry Potter quiz involving the audience.

“This year's theme is so much better than last year's and it just makes more sense,” said Kyle Tuckey, junior.

Keeping with tradition, the Senior Athlete Dance featured both girls and boys dancing to a mix of songs.

Student Council members emceed the event and got the crowd going with a game that involved embarrassing a group of senior boys. They didn’t know that a group of senior girls got their hands on some of their personal belongings like a stuffed animals, pajamas, hats and blankets. The audience had to guess which items belonged to which person.

“I think the event is great,” said Melissa Pikul, dean of students. “It’s wonderful to see the kids' school spirit.”
