The annual fundraising drive started Nov. 30 and will end Dec. 11. According to Jean Malek, director of communications and community relations for Lake Zurich District 95, LZHS has raised more than $275,000 for children's charities in the previous eight years of the Charity Bash event. Last year, the school raised $41,132 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Illinois.
