just announced on its website that all after-school activities are canceled today due to the inclement weather.
The Lake Zurich High School website adds that "all after-school activities, games, and practices have been canceled for today, Friday, January 20. This includes away events."
Northern Illinois remains under a winter storm warning. Here in Lake Zurich, snowfall accumulations could reach 3 to 5 inches during the day, with an additional 1 to 2 inches falling tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning is in effect until midnight.
