Lake Zurich Main Street Cruise Night extended for one more month

Lake Zurich Main Street Cruise Night originally set to terminate after tonight's Cruise Night on September 4th, 2013 in downtown Lake Zurich, has been approved for one more month. The last night for this event will now be October 2nd.

The Lake Zurich Main Street Cruise Night is a friendly gathering of nearby classic car and modern car owners and car aficionados who love to share their experiences and stories of their cars, motorcycles, trucks or anything with a motor.

Past collectibles included cars from the late 1920s Model A Fords, the lead-sled 1050s cruisers, air-cooled Volkswagens, all the way to the 1960s and 1970s muscle cars from the Cuda to the Camaros and Mustangs, to your most recent super-sport Ferraris and Maseratis. The focus is the cars, those who love them, those who restore them and those who appreciate them.

Admission is FREE for all Cruisers and all spectators.  Event starts at 6 pm and is held on Main Street in Downtown Lake Zurich from Old Rand Road to Church Street (Midlothian Rd.)  Entry for the cruisers is from the east (Church Street) as Main Street for the night becomes a one-way street with cruisers exiting on Old Rand Road.  Spectator parking is available off Main Street at the Ela Township Historical Society, and off Old Rand Road at the baseball field parking lots and behind Delicious Redds.

We have many people to thank for making this event possible, especially our corporate sponsors including Midwest Motors (www.mmicars.com,) Fuzzy Dice Productions (www.CarShowsCruiseNights.com,) Farmers Insurance-Stern Insurance Agency (www.ISellFarmers.com,) Heidts Muscle Car Parts (www.Heidts.com,) ReCoBu Realty (www.recobu.com,) Midwest Muscle Cars (www.MidwestMuscleCars.com,) Beelow’s Steakhouse (www.beelows.com,) and Helping Hands Therapy (www.HHTherapy.com.)  Additionally none of this would have been possible without the support of the Village of Lake Zurich, the Lake Zurich Lions, The Lake Zurich American Legion Post 964 and our local Police Department and Fire Department.
