Voter turnout in Lake Zurich was higher than average voter turnout in Lake County, according to the Lake County Clerk website. Village of Lake Zurich precincts averaged about 25 percent voter turnout.
The average Lake County voter turnout was 17.62 percent. In Ela Township, voter turnout averaged 18 percent.
In April 2009, average turnout in Lake County was 21 percent; in April 2007, it was 17 percent.
