Village Board Meeting, Mr. LZ Competition This Week

What's coming up in Lake Zurich?

Here's a look at what's coming up this week in town:

 

  • The Lake Zurich Village Board will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. tonight, March 19, at . Items on the agenda include: a report on the Special Events Task Force; possible approval of a "Take a Stand" walk-a-thon and drug awareness assembly; and a report on lightening prediction systems in village parks.
  • The will present "Miss Carole, the Pied Piper of children's music" at 10 a.m. March 21. The program will feature songs and dancing. Children ages 2 to 5, with an adult, are welcome to attend.   • Lake Zurich High School will hold the Mr. LZ Competition at 7 p.m. March 21. The event will be held in the Performing Arts Center.
  • Want to learn about how to check out free eBooks and eAudiobooks at the Ela Area Public Library? The library will present a class on eReader basics at 7 p.m. March 22.   • The Lake Zurich Village Board will hold budget review sessions at 7 p.m. March 22 and 8 a.m. March 24 at Village Hall.
